The Eyre Affair, by Jasper Fford was a great book to listen on my commute!  Normally, the odd names such as Thursday Next, Landen Parke-Laine, and  Jack Schitt (pronounced Shit) would drive me crazy but for some reason I just loved this story! I think the reason I loved it so much is because it crosses so many generes – it’s a little bit of mystery, humor, science fiction, thriller, and romance. The book is set in a parallel universe where it’s accept to change your name to your favorite author names – the government then assigns you a number so they can tell who is who! Tons of other things happen in this universe, but it’s up to you to read it and find out.

I can’t wait to start the second book in the series, Lost in a Good Book.
